Design Goals

This is a spinning magnet to seperate magnetics from concentrate. Similar to a Rollie Pollie, but DIY

• Under the pan, seperation of magnetics (dry seperation, indirect)
• Pour concentrate past magnet (dry seperation)
• Removal of existing trough (poor use case in the original design)

I really just wanted the motor mount design and will be redesigning the covering over the magnet.

Starting with a design I purchased (3D printed parts and basic design, but with heavy modification). The big issue is that there is a roller bearing on one end only. The shaft vibrates tremendously if not mounted perfectly straight. The design needs roller bearings on both ends of the roller assembly.

Here is the new design concept. Starting with an open design so I can understand how quiet the unit can be.
